Why we encourage diversity in the playground

In our experience we have found that children, who associate with other children from different backgrounds, usually find life easier growing up.

It is up to us to ensure that our children embrace everybody. Children who only mix with children who come from the same background may struggle later in life.

The playground should be seen as a real representation of the real world. In the real world there are many different types of people from all walks of life. It is best for your children to start embracing others from a young age.

By the time they are grown up, they will be excellent at communicating with everyone. It is essential for children to learn tolerance, diversity and acceptance at a very early age.

A playground should include children who are disabled too. It is very important for children to learn to include everyone. Children should be taught the importance of equality and equal rights from a young age.

The world is made up of all different people and it is best for your child to start learning this from the start. Unfortunately home schooling can contribute to social isolation. However this is a choice which you can make. You can choose to ensure that your child is never isolated just because they are being home schooled.
